Carlos Torano 1916 review

From the Torano Website
"A well balanced, slow burning cigar. Medium bodied with hints of pepper and sweet spice. A long, smooth and woody finish completes this incredible smoke."

Wrapper: Cameroon
Binder: Havana Seed Nicaraguan
Filler: Honduras & Nicaragua

This is one hell of a great tasting cigar. I love it. The sweet flavor of the cameroon is awesome. This one came with the first sampler I every ordered. I read the reviews about how great it was and boy was I pleased. This beauty rested in my humidor for 2 months before I lit it up.

The smoke

The prelit aroma is that of a nice rich tobacco flavor. It had a hint of a high pitch sweet stinky smell that I loved.

I clipped the tip and let it rip with my ronson lighter. This sweet baby produced a haze of white delicious smelling smoke. Wow I'm in love with the aroma and subtle hints of cedar. The ash held on the cigar up to 2 inches before it dropped. The smoke took about a good long relaxing 1hr and ten minutes. These will be a stable in my humidor.. I loved these

Quintero Maduro Review

These beauties are box pressed very good looking cigar. I was very impressed visually by the way these looked.

These are in the Altadis family of cigars.

From Altadis's website "Sexy. Sultry. Smoking. With its dark, rich San Andres MorrĂ³n wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan fillers, Quintero Maduro is everything you always fantasized about in a maduro cigar."

Little Personal history with this cigar. This cigar caught my eye in the Cigar Aficionado Magazine. They ranked it in the Top 25 Cigars for 2006. So I made myself a promise to try this cigar to see what all the fuss is about.

This lil beauty did not disappoint me. Plus the sweet eye candy on the band did not hurt the cause. :)

So my expectations of this cigar was very high based on my readings. I toasted the foot and the pre lit aroma was that of tobacco with a hint of sweet hay.

The first lit and puff produced volumes of smoke and some wows from my mental notebook. This cigar was very pleasant it put me in a mindframe of pure relaxation. I did not have a care in the world. The cigar produced a sweet taste that I cannot connect to any other taste my palette has experienced. It was a delicious taste thou and I am not going to go around licking everything so I can pinpoint that taste.

The ash held uniformly and consistent and did not drop until 1.5 to 2 inched I throughly enjoyed this cigar to the max. This was a great cigar. So great I ordered another fiver off of cigarbid. This cigar is definitely a buy

My new 20 ct humidors

I purchased these off of cigarbid.com

I intend to give one to a good friend of mine as a starter humi and the other I plan on using as my travel humi.

These are very cost effective and can be given as gifts. Your friends and family would love the thought of you purchasing a humi for them.

Cigar Review 5 vegas A "Atomic"

I will review the 5 Vegas A "Atomic"

This is a nice little smoke. I purchased these of all the noise I was hearing about these on clubstogie. I had bidded on several of the 5 Vegas Brand cigarbid but never won one until I won the 5 vegas A "Atomic". All I have to say is this is an impressive smoke. Nice maduro wrapper looks like pure chocolate goodness. The cigar is constructed very well.

After I cut the cap the prelit draw is of a mild sweet bitter tobacco flavor.
I toasted the foot and began to puff away.

The first couple of puffs produced massive volumes of sweet smelling tobacco smoke. I am really loving the taste profile. The burn was even throughout the ash held up 1.5 to 2 inches before it dropped.

I had hints of cedar which surprised me but it still was good. These cigars are a keeper in my humidor I love them. This is another favorite.

Reasons to buy
Smooth and easy smoke
consistent burn and taste profile
volumes of smoke
mild to medium flavor profile

Royal Jamacia Gold Corona

The Royal Jamaica Gold is a handmade cigar from the Atladis family. (same makers of montecristo, romeo y julieta..and etc read more at
http://www.altadisusa.com

I had to get a 5-pack of these from cigarbid.
Reasons why:
I was married in Runaway Bay, Jamaica so a keepsake if horrible
The packaging is awesome
The female on the cigar band is a cutie pie :)
Got them low 9.00 for 5 of them

I had no expectations for this cigar. The purchase was purely intended as giveaways. The reasons my expectations were low was because I havent heard much about this particular cigar on the boards or in the magazines..Boy was I wrong.

This is a nice mild relax chillout kind of cigar.

I clipped the tip and the prelit draw was that of a sweet tobacco almost honeyesque(not a word but you get the point)

I lit it and we were off on this beautiful journey of smoke and deep thoughts just me , my laptop, and this cigar. Once lit it produced volumes of white smoke very impressive. The first third was pleasant and mild sweet tobacco. The flavor profile stayed the same throughout the cigar. Which was cool with me.
The ash was impressive it did not drop until it was 3 inches.
This was a nubber. This cigar will be a main stay in my humidor.
This is a keeper
